    This group has been building a following with their anti-hate message for the past two years. Each song has a different sound, ranging from pop to melodic to metal – which might explain their popularity with the Harley-Davidson crowd.
  • 6:30 - Flophouse - Harrisburg
    Led by Jonny Rich, Flophouse is the pride of the east shore punk scene.
  • 7:00 - Halestorm - Bethel
    Elizabeth (14) and Arejay (11) Hale are two youngsters who create pop rock tunes with a wholesome message. Faith in God is the driving force in all they do and their high-energy show features Elizabeth's great voice and her little brother's crazy stage antics.
  • 7:30 - Empty Set - Bath
    Hard-edged "Redneck Rapcore" with the purpose of showing God's love to youth who are forgotten by the mainstream Christian music industry. This is definitely not your average church music!
  • 8:00 - Caligo - Grantham
    Melodic emo-rock style college band influenced by Letters to Cleo, Radiohead, Starflyer 59 and the Cranberries. Since 1996 they've been entertaining coffeehouses from here to Ohio.
  • 8:30 - Opal - Hanover
    These are some funky sounding kids whose music is influenced by the Chili Peppers, Santana, 311 and The Beatles. The result is diverse, upbeat and kind of makes you want to rollerskate.
  • 9:00 - Pagewater - Pittsburgh
    Winner of Shaler's Battle of the Bands, Pagewater has conglomerated musical influences and styles from hard rock to jazz to create their own original type of melodic hard rock.
  • 9:30 - Horsehead - Middletown
    This young quartet has a raw heavy rhythm noise section, funky bass, inaudible guitar and plenty of acrobatics and sarcasm. Their new album is scheduled for release January 1999.
  • 10:00 - Misconceived - Altoona
    Their debut album "Mt. Zion's a Minefield" is a hard hitting set that spans hard rock to punk to hard rap to ska and even metal. With this amount of variety, it's no wonder they won the Crazy Fest Amateur Talent Show three years in a row!

    Fast, poppy new school punk with a touch of emo that makes you want to cut a rug especially to songs like "Don't Bogart the Vibrating Pen" and the my bologna my bologna yeah yeah yeah song.

    Five piece alternative band with a hard-dare I say metaly-edge to it. They've been together for over a year playing various small clubs and cafes in the central PA area.

    These guys produce a melodic driving sound that they say has separated them from the ranks of other local bands. They've got a new lineup and a new album out.
  • 7:30 - ivet - Cleveland
    Their release "failure boy" took regional Album of the Year on radio station WENZ-FM. "This band put together the best combination of emo and hardcore I've ever heard and you feel that it comes straight from their hearts." - Franco Ortega
  • 8:00 - dilton - Willow Street
    Self described as "geek rock", their music is melodic power pop-punk with plenty of stuck-on-the-girl-who-broke-their-heart lyrics. Stick around for their encore, a tribute to GWAR when they run out naked alphabetically and blow fire out their mouths.
  • 8:30 - Running From Dharma - Camp Hill
    The term pop rock does not do this band justice. A combination of brilliant guitar enhanced by some of the most intricate bass this side of the galaxy, solid drumming, and intense lyrics all swirl together to cause a maelstrom of emotion.
  • 9:00 - D'Arey October - Reading
    Very energetic intense melodies sometimes and good ol' punk/hardcore rhythms some other times and always girl singing!! These kids have their stuff together. Just go see them.
  • 9:30 - Anthrophobia (Oxygen) - Reading
    This premiere hard rock act of the Northeast is a cacaphony of driving guitar rhythms, plenty of distortion and vocals full of angst. Anthrophobia has opened for Bad Brains, Faith No More, Jawbox and L7.
